The Queen of Arabia and Three Sheiks
Maura, who like to be considered of as the most attractive and powerful queen of Arabia, had numerous suitors. One by one she discarded them, until her list was decreased to just three sheiks. The three sheiks were all equally juvenile and handsome. They were also rich and powerful. It was very hard to decide who would be the best of them. One evening, Maura disguised herself and went to the bivouac of the three sheiks.
As they were about to have dinner, Maura asked them for something to consume. The first provided her some left over nourishment. The second Sheik provided her some unappetizing camel’s follow. The third sheik, who was called Hakim, offered her some of the most tender and tasty beef. After evening meal, the disguised ruler left the sheik’s camp. The following day, the ruler asked for the three sheiks to dinner at her castle. She ordered her domestic to give each one precisely what they had given her the evening before.
Hakim, who received a plate of delicious beef, refused to consume it if the other two sheiks could not share it with him. This Sheik Hakim’s proceed finally assured ruler Maura that he was the man for her. “Without inquiry, Hakim is the most bountiful of you” she broadcast her choice to the sheiks. “So it is Hakim I will marry”.
