"Golden Eggs"
Long time before a remote town, in central China was inhabited mostly with ranchers and hunters.
One day, a poor grower lost his whole livestock to flood. He prayed hard to God for help or his family would die of starvation.
couple of days later, an vintage man with long grey whiskers, passed by his dwelling took pity on him. He provided him a goose and said “ I don’t have any costly thing to give you and wish this goose will help you to alleviate your hardship.”
A week later to nearly shock the grower discovered and egg in his yard. This was no ordinary egg. It was a golden egg. He was abruptly overcome with delight.
then, his livelihood had quickly improved but the grower had disregarded his earlier hardship. He became slovenly, conceited and spendthrift.
Strangely, the goose only prepared one golden egg every six months. The hungry farmer lost his persevering and slaughtered his goose thinking there were abounding of golden eggs interior its stomach.
Though he very much lamented for his foolishness, it’s currently too late
